Census data shows that there’s more than enough empty properties to house every homeless person in Australia.
Jordie (purplepingers) and his community have been building a database of empty properties in Australia.
RAHU, HUSK and other housing activists have been developing a campaign to fight the crisis of empties.
Come along to learn more about squatting, join the campaign and fight for housing for all.

This is an online and in-person meeting.
N95 masks will be provided, and masking is normalized for this event.
Additionally, there will be videographers filming this meeting.
Please disclose if you wish to avoid being filmed.
We will also be looking for 1-1 interviews with people with lived experience of insecure housing, and those participating in the campaign.
Footage will be used for a documentary.
