Housing – A voice on the housing crisis – issue 1
The Renters and Housing Union (RAHU) are proud to present the inaugural issue of Housing, a publication born from the collective efforts and voices of the Inner South Melbourne Branch.
This magazine is a reflection of our shared mission to highlight and address the ongoing housing crisis in Australia, a crisis that affects us all, from renters to homeowners, and beyond.
Housing emerged after thoughtful discussions and decisions made by our members and activists, driven by a commitment to advocate for fair and equitable housing for everyone.
This issue is the first step in creating a platform for ideas, stories, and solutions that shed light on the pressing issues of housing inequality, affordability, and accessibility in our communities. We invite you to join the conversation. Your feedback and opinions on this issue are not only welcomed but vital to shaping future editions.
We also encourage you to contribute to the next issue, scheduled for release in January 2025. Whether you have a story to share, an article to submit, opinions to voice, or a news report on housing, we’d love to hear from you.
Together, let’s continue to make Housing a powerful voice for change in Australia’s housing landscape.
