The newly elected Public and Social Housing Officer Hank Ferguson has been unable to formally engage in his position due to his ongoing persecution by the Victorian state. Hank was arrested and is now being put on trial for defending his home by chaining himself to machinery that was to be used to demolish public housing. 

In light of this RAHU:

• Calls for the immediate end of the continual harassment and unfair legal campaign being waged against Hank Ferguson.
• Calls for Victoria state to stop the persecution as to allow RAHU’s newly elected Public and Social Housing officer to work in his position.
• Reaffirms RAHU’s previous calls for the Victorian government to end the demolition of Public Housing.
• Re-commits itself to the fight and struggle against these public demolitions.
