Climate Change is becoming a bigger and bigger issue facing renters.
Extreme temperatures, poor insulation, high bills are causing renters to face illness and deaths at a growing scale. Predictions expect 1000+ heat related deaths per year in Australian capital cities by 2050.

Learn what your rights are in a rental, and what we still need to fight for as renters.
With skills and experience from RAHU organisers, you too can stand up and assert your right for a safer and more comfortable home.

Lunch will be provided.
This session will begin with an interactive training session on what your rights are and how to assert those rights for a safer and more comfortable home.
We will also cover what rights we still need to fight for collectively as renters.
The end of the session will be an open forum to discuss tactics and ideas on how we continue this campaign for safer, energy efficient, comfortable, climate change prepared housing.
